Situated overlooking the Fal River, this stunning riverside property makes the most of its location and the amazing views.

Warm white dimmable LED lighting used to create a relaxing atmosphere throughout with a variety of downlights, artwork lightng and wall lights. Rise and fall pendants were installed over the dining area, which could be raised when not in use to avoid obstructing the view.

The main challenge was the staircase. A bespoke open tread oak staircase spanned three floors within a glass atrium. It had a glass balustrade and the client did not want any wall lights, which meant the lighting had to be concealed within the staircase itself.  Eleanor worked with the stair manufacturer to adapt the stringer to house LED strip in order to cast a glow across the treads. The end result was really successful and created a beautiful lighting feature that could be viewed from both the interior and the exterior of the house at night.
